With a career spanning four decades and over 100M album sales worldwide, award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart is among the most respected and accomplished talents in popular music history. In addition to co-writing and producing each Eurythmics album with Annie Lennox, he has also produced albums and co-written songs with Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Gwen Stefani, Aretha Franklin, and many others.
Stewart has earned over fifty ASCAP and BMI Awards, four BRIT Awards for “Best Producer” (including a Lifetime Achievement Award), a Golden Globe Award, and a GRAMMY® Award. “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)” was recently inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame® and U.S. Library of Congress National Recording Registry. Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox were among the 2020 inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2022, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation welcomed Eurythmics as inductees for their profound impact on music.
Stewart is also a renowned film and TV producer (including NBC’s hit songwriting competition series, Songland), author, photographer, public speaker, and entrepreneur. In 2010, Stewart established Dave Stewart Entertainment (DSE), linking creative ideas to various projects in music, film, television, books, theatre, and new media.
In 1990, Dave Stewart commissioned veteran music film director Robert Mugge and renowned music scholar Robert Palmer to venture deep into the heart of the North Mississippi Hill Country to create the documentary Deep Blues.
Recently, Stewart and Joss Stone penned the new musical, “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” opening at The Apollo Theatre in London's West End in October 2023. In 2022, Dave Stewart released Ebony McQueen, an exhilarating, original, semi-autobiographical musical fable about music and young manhood. Work on the film is due to begin shortly.
After having performed in the theatre both in Italy and the United States, as well as featuring in music videos and short films, Greta’s on-screen career took off when she was 20 years old with performances in various productions, including TV series, such as Un posto al sole, Romanzo criminale - La serie and I liceali, and the film Scattered Cloud. In 2014 she starred in the TV series Squadra antimafia - Palermo oggi and also featured in the lead role, alongside Pierfrancesco Favino, in Michele Alhaique’s debut film Senza nessuna pieta (Without Pity), which was screened at the Venice International Film Festival in the Orizzonti section.
In 2015 she played the role of Viola in Stefano Sollima’s second film, Suburra, for which she won the Nastro d’argento for Best Supporting Actress as well as a Ciak d’oro that recognised her as discovery of the year. She also featured in the second series of In Treatment with Sergio Castellitto.
In 2016 she starred in Roberto Faenza’s film La verità sta in cielo and then, in 2017, in Sydney Sibilia’s I Can Quit Whenever I Want - Masterclass, the second of a three-film trilogy.
In 2018 she featured in the series La linea verticale, while she also played Emanuela Loi in the TV drama Liberi sognatori - La scorta di Borsellino. The following year she starred in Non mentire alongside Alessandro Preziosi and also featured in the TV series The Name of the Rose.
In 2021 she starred alongside Luca Zingaretti in the final episode of Detective Montalbano. The same year she played Ilary Blasi in the series Speravo de morì prima, directed by Luca Ribuoli, and the lead role in Chiamami ancora Amore, a series produced by Francesca Cima and Nicola Giuliano for Indigo Film and directed by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli. Also in 2021 she played Pilar in Paolo Genovese’s film Supereroi, while in 2022 she was the female lead in La cena Perfetta.
In 2021 and 2022 she starred in two further TV series, Chiamami ancora amore and Circeo. She plays one of the main characters in Ferzan Özpetek’s Nuovo Olimpo, due for release in 2023.
Mokadelic, a group formed by Alberto Broccatelli, Cristian Marras, Maurizio Mazzenga, Alessio Mecozzi, and Luca Novelli, has been active in composing soundtracks for film, television, and theater for over fifteen years. They are regarded as some of the most innovative contemporary composers, thanks to soundtracks including "Gomorra - The Series”, "Django - The Series”, “Come Dio Comanda”, “Romulus”, and "On My Skin”, collaborating alongside internationally acclaimed directors (Stefano Sollima, Gabriele Salvatores). The band has also composed music for brands such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Volkswagen, and has had various experiences in soundscaping on both a national and international level (Expo 2017 Astana). Their music ranges from neo-psychedelic atmospheres to melancholic and ethereal ambient/electronic suggestions, and extends to dense soundscapes, creating true symphonies.
Giorgio Testi has built a career directing and creating cinematic films that tell unique stories and create genuine connections between artists and audiences. Recently, Giorgio directed the live-action elements of the global phenomenon Guitar Hero Live for games giant Activision (nominated for two Bafta Awards).
Testi is a Grammy nominee for directing Blur’s ‘Live at Hyde Park’ show, an MVA nominee for his work for Blur, Gorillaz, Richard Ashcroft, The Killers and Savages, and a 2014 MUVI award winner for Savages’ ‘Fuckers’.
Testi has successfully harnessed his diverse talents into working with global advertising brands and clients.
Throughout his well-documented career, Giorgio has worked with some of the most culturally important and innovative bands in the world, including The Rolling Stones, The Killers, Oasis, Sting, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Elton John & Gorillaz, as well as collaborating with iconic global brands such as Adidas, Armani, Versace, Pinko, Nike, Budweiser, Peroni, Pepsi, RedBull, Jack Daniels, Sony, Converse and T-Mobile.
WHO TO LOVE is Testi’s latest short film, created alongside a soon-to-be-released album by the same title, written by and starring Grammy and Golden Globe-winning artist/producer Dave Stewart, Greta Scarano and Mokadelic.
Luca Previtali is an italian film editor and director. Cinema and music are his life’s passions. In the last 10 years, he worked mainly as film editor, editing music videos, live concerts, commercials, short films and documentaries. Some of them premiered in important festivals such as Venice Film Festival, Rome Film Festival and International Film festival Rotterdam.
Born in 1979 in Pisa, Italy, he graduated at New York Film Academy in Filmmaking in 2000 and at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italian National Film School) in Cinematography in Rome in 2004 under the tutorship of Giuseppe Rotunno, AIC, ASC as well as other prominent directors of photography. Since 2005 he works as a director of photography in movies, tv series, documentaries, music videos and commercials.
In December 2010 his daughter Galatea was born and since then he’s been a very happy father. In February 2016 his second daughter Amarilli was born doubling the happiness.
He’s a proud member of the the GBCT (Guild of British Camera Technicians) and Chiaroscuro Collective a brand new Italian exclusive cinematographers’ society.
